This new bouncy soft light-Aran-weight yarn comes from our own slaughter-free flock of Shetland sheep.  Spun in Cornwall, for a wool-spun yarn which knits up quickly and easily. It's a dark, dark volcanic grey like the skerries: rocky outcrops off eastern and northern Scotland.  Similar to the Scottish gaelic word 'sgeir'.
