New from our 2024 wool clip, this beautifully soft and drapey pale grey wool is a dream to work with. It has been worsted-spun in Yorkshire, giving it a slight shine and softness. It is comprised of our own Shetland fleece 80% and alpaca fibre from the Borders at 20%.  It joins our popular Achness DK so that we now have Achness DK and 4 ply.

We've named it Loch Fleet, after the huge grey sea loch which stretches from Littleferry to the Kyle of Sutherland.  

This is an ideal wool for knitting and weaving, and would make fantastic shawls, light sweaters and more delicate items.
