Available from our 2024 and 2025 wool clips, this beautifully soft and drapey pale grey wool is a dream to work with. It has been worsted-spun in Yorkshire, giving it a slight shine and softness. It is comprised of our own Shetland fleece 80% and alpaca fibre from the Borders at 20%.  Along with Achness DK and Aran it is part of our popular Achness range.

We've named it Loch Fleet, after the huge grey sea loch which stretches from Littleferry to the Kyle of Sutherland.  

This is an ideal wool for knitting and weaving, and would make fantastic shawls, light sweaters and more delicate items.
